Trinity Valley Community College Continuing Education and MedicareJourney.org are teaming up to offer free Medicare Educational workshops in the spring of 2024.

The Medicare 101 Workshop is designed to educate Medicare-eligible seniors on all aspects of the Medicare system, including Part A, Part B, Part D, Social Security, Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, IRMAA for Part B, IRMAA for Part D, late enrollment penalties, and ancillary coverage. This educational workshop will be available on the Athens, Palestine, Terrell, and Kaufman campuses.

The classes will be offered on:

Tuesday, Jan. 30 on the Athens Campus from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Tuesday, Feb. 27 on the Palestine Campus from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Tuesday, March 26 on the Terrell Campus from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Tuesday, April 30 on the Kaufman Campus from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

President of The Seniors Group of Texas Terry Collinsworth and Vice President of Sales and Development for The Seniors Group Barry Collinsworth will be teaming up as instructors for the Medicare 101 Workshop.
