Chapter 31: Vocational Rehabilitation     

Vocational Rehabilitation & Employment benefits (Chapter 31) are available to veterans who are at least 10% disabled, apply for Vocational Rehabilitation & Employment Services, and have received, or will receive, a discharge that is not dishonorable.

Service members can receive this benefit only by meeting with a Vocational Rehabilitation counselor and applying.
 

New Students – 1st Semester Using Benefits at TVCC

Step One – Submit the necessary documentation to TVCC:

  • VA Form 22-1905 from Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor/Case Manager with valid enrollment dates
  • Member 4 Copy of DD214 (NOT required for dependents who are using transferred benefits)
  • Official copy of your military transcript submitted to the Office of Enrollment Services (NOT required for dependents who are using transferred benefits)
  • TVCC Veterans Information Sheet

Step Two – Check your email address:

Renewal Certification (Continuing Students) – Required EACH semester

Step One –

  • Register for your classes.
  • Turn in a Veterans Information Sheet
  • VA Form 22-1905 from Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor/Case Manager with valid enrollment dates; if your 1905 has expired, you must request a new one from your case manager
