The Board of Trustees of Trinity Valley Community College will conduct a special called meeting at 2:00 PM on May 14, 2024, in the board room of the Orval Pirtle Administration Building, Athens, Texas.

The Board of Trustees may take formal action as to any of the items listed below:

1. Open meeting with prayer.

2. Convene to executive session pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.074 and 551.071 of the Texas Open Meetings Act, for the following purposes:
3.                            A.  To deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline,
4.                               or dismissal of a public officer or employee:
   1. 1.                        Vice President of Instruction
      2.                         Personnel

1.                                  B. Governmental Body seeks the advice of its attorney on:
   2.                                           (1) pending or contemplated litigation; or

                                           (2) a settlement offer; or

                                                (3) on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the                     

                                         governmental body under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of

                                  Professional Conduct of the State Bar of Texas clearly conflicts with this chapter

1. Take any necessary action on the following matters.

1. 1. Personnel action as to the Vice President of Instruction
   2. Consider any and all possible action related to RFP No. 2024-02 (the campus dining services contract).

1.   Consider, discuss, and approve renovation of Fine Arts Building and West Hall Dorm; Athens Campus.

      5. Canvassing of the votes of May 4, 2024, General Election for TVCC Board of Trustees District Seat 5.

6.  Issue certificate of Election for Districts 4, 5, and 8.
7.  Consider, discuss, and approve change order for TDCJ Building by Frentress Engineering.

8. Adjourn.
