NOTICE OF MEETING

 

The Board of Trustees of Trinity Valley Community College will meet in regular session at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, February 26, 2024, in the board room of the Orval Pirtle Administration Building, Athens, Texas.  Dinner will be served for the board members in the administration conference room at 6:30 p.m., where no business will be discussed.

 

The Board of Trustees may take formal action as to any of the items listed below:

 

1.         Open meeting with prayer.
 

2.         Consider public comments.
 

3.         President’s Report.

 

  1. ) Spring 2024 update

 

  1. ) Rich Crosby on Workforce Report

 

      c) Next board meeting – March 25, 2024
 

4.         Consider the minutes of the January 29, 2024, meeting.
 

5.         Consider the business, financial, and investment reports for December

2023.

 

6.        Consider and discuss contingency fund budget adjustment.

 

 

7.         Consider, Discuss, and approve Palestine Expansion –

TDCJ [Contract 5]  

 

 

8.         Consider and discuss approval of the FY 2024-2025 College Calendar.

 

9.         Discuss TVCC Police Department’s Racial Profiling Report

 

10.      Consider and discuss Travel and Business Expense Policies

and Procedures and Board Manual.

 

11.       Consider and discuss 2024-2025 vehicle purchase.

                         

12.        Consider and discuss Increase in Dorm and Parking Fines

 

13.       Consider and discuss personnel updates.

 

14.      Consider and Discuss Election Cancellation for Board Seat 4 and 8

 

15.   Convene to executive session pursuant to Texas Government Codes

        551.074 of the Texas Open Meetings Act, for the following

        Purposes.

           

  a.) To deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or             employee or to hear a complaint or charge against a public officer or employee
