NOTICE OF MEETING

The Board of Trustees of Trinity Valley Community College will meet in regular session at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2023, in the Board Room of the Orval Pirtle Administration Building, Athens, Texas. Dinner will be served for the board members in the administration conference room at 6:30 p.m. where no business will be discussed. 

The Board of Trustees may take formal action as to any of the items listed below:

1.   Open meeting with prayer.

2.   Consider public comments.

3.    President’s Report:
        a. Summer and Fall enrollment report
        b. 2023-2024 Budget 
        c. ACCT Conference – October 9-12, 2023 – Las Vegas
        d. Emily Heglund – Foundation update
        e. Board Self-Assessment
        f. Next TVCC Regularly Scheduled Board Meeting - July 24

4.   Consider minutes of the April 24, 2023, board meeting and the May 23, 
      2023, special board meeting.

5.   Consider business, financial, and investment reports for March and April 2023.

6.   Consider and discuss dates for the final FY 23-24 budget workshop,
tax rate hearings and adoption, FY 23-24 budget approval, and September board meeting.

7.   Consider and discuss budget adjustments from contingency.

8.   Consider and discuss student athletic insurance.

9.   Consider and discuss faculty contract renewals.

10. Consider and discuss administrator’s contract renewals.

11. Consider and discuss Audit Engagement Letter for 2022-2023.

12. Consider and discuss personnel updates.

13. Update from the board committee on the district 2 board member 
      vacancy.  

14. Convene to executive session pursuant to Texas Government Codes 
      551.074 and 551.072 the Texas Open Meetings Act, for the following 
      purposes.
      a) Personnel 
      b) District 2 board member vacancy
      c) Real Property

15. Reconvene to take any necessary action regarding: 
    a) Personnel
       b) District 2 board member vacancy
    c) Real Property

16. Adjourn.
