NOTICE OF MEETING

The Board of Trustees of Trinity Valley Community College will meet in regular session at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, April 3, 2023, in the board room of the Orval Pirtle Administration Building, Athens, Texas.  Dinner will be served for the board members in the administration conference room at 6:30 p.m., where no business will be discussed.

The Board of Trustees may take formal action as to any of the items listed below:

1.    Open meeting with prayer.

2.    Consider public comments.

3.    President’s Report:
•    TVCC Cardinals and Lady Cardinals NJCAA National Tournament
•    Next board meeting on April 24th 

4.    Consider minutes of the March 6, 2023, meeting minutes.

5.    Consider business, financial, and investment reports for January 2023.

6.     Discuss Kaufman County Resource Connection request for office
        space at the TVCC Kaufman Center.    

7.     Consider and discuss the TVCC Palestine Workforce Center and TVCC Palestine Campus and future TDCJ Regional Training Center.

8.    Consider and discuss room and board rates for 2023-24.

9.     Discuss Terrell radio station.

10.    Discuss Department of Education Review.

11.    Consider and discuss fire suppression system at NW Dorm.

12.    Consider and discuss vacancy for Board of Trustee District 2.

13.    Consider and discuss election of board of trustee officers due to a resignation.

14.    Consider and discuss personnel updates.

15.   Adjourn.
