Notice of Special Board Meeting - 3-31-23
NOTICE OF SPECIAL BOARD MEETING
The Board of Trustees of Trinity Valley Community College will meet in a special session at 8:30 am on Friday, March 31, 2023, in the Board Room of the Orval Pirtle Administration Building, Athens, Texas.
The Board of Trustees may take formal action as to any of the items listed below:
1. Open the meeting with prayer.
2. Convene to executive session for the following matters.
a) Personnel matters pursuant to Texas Govt. Code 551.074. To deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee or to hear a complaint or charge against a public officer or employee.
b) Private consultation with the board’s attorney pursuant to Govt. Code 551.071 to seek advice on a matter in which the duty of the attorney to the board under the Texas Disciplinary Rules of Professional Conduct clearly conflicts with the Open Meetings Act.
3. Reconvene to open meeting to take any action on agenda items listed
above.
4. Adjourn.
