NOTICE OF MEETING

The Board of Trustees of Trinity Valley Community College will meet in regular session at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 6, 2023, in the board room of the Orval Pirtle Administration Building, Athens, Texas.  Dinner will be served for the board members in the administration conference room at 6:30 p.m., where no business will be discussed.

The Board of Trustees may take formal action as to any of the items listed below:

1.    Open meeting with prayer.

2.    Consider public comments.

3.    Consider and discuss naming the new TVCC President.

4.    President’s Report.
       a. Next board meeting – March 27th

5.    Consider the minutes of the January 18, 19, 20, February 2, and 9, 2023,  
           meetings.

6.    Consider the business, financial, and investment reports for December
        2022.

7.     Discuss TVCC Highway 175/Fair Road property and Kaufman EDC property.

8.     Discuss TVCC Palestine Workforce Center and TVCC Palestine Campus and future TDCJ Regional Training Center. 

9.    Consider and discuss approval of the FY 2023-24 College Calendar.
 
10.    Discuss TVCC Police Department’s Racial Profiling Report.

11.    Consider and discuss Texas Commission on Community College 
           Finance.

12.    Consider and discuss renewal of Hunt Brothers Contract – 
           groundskeeping.

13.    Consider and discuss Bank Depository.

14.   Discuss Department of Education Audit. 

15.   Consider and discuss local board policy updates.

16.   Consider and discuss personnel updates.

17.   Convene to executive session pursuant to Texas Government Code
        and 551.074 and 551.072 the Texas Open Meetings Act, for the following 
        Purposes.

a)    Personnel  

b)    Real estate.

18. Take any necessary action on the following matters:

a)    Personnel 

b)    Real estate

19. Adjourn.
