Trinity Valley Community College

The Trinity Valley Community College Board of Trustees met in special called session at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2023, in the Board Room of the Orval Pirtle Administration Building in Athens, with the following members present:

Mr. Ray Raymond        Mr. Mike Hembree        Dr. Terry Eason
Mr. David Monk            Mr. Jerry Stone             Mr. Steve Grant
Dr. Charlie Risinger      Dr. Clayton Gautreaux    Mr. Ron Day
        
1.     Mr. Day opened the meeting with prayer.

2.    Mr. Stone moved, seconded by Mr. Monk, for the Board to convene to  executive session at 7:07p.m. in accordance with Government Code 551.074 to consider the following:

a. to deliberate the employment of a potential public employee -
    (President).

Motion carried unanimously.
          
3.    Dr. Gautreaux moved, seconded by Dr. Eason, for the Board to return from executive session at 9:13 p.m.  Motion carried unanimously.
    
 4.        No action was taken during executive session.

 5.    Dr. Risinger moved, seconded by Mr. Day, to adjourn the meeting at 9:14 p.m.  Motion carried unanimously.
