Our Partnership:

TVCC and Lamar University work together to create pathways built for a smooth transfer into Lamar's bachelors programs.  Agreements developed by specific major will determine the best pathway to take with TVCC to transfer credits into the corresponding program at the university.  Lamar also encourages participating students to submit for reverse transfer when ready, if they have transferred before completion of their associates degree.  Other benefits for students from this agreement include:

• Co-operative Advising - access advisors at both institutions to discuss your transfer plans.
• Scholarship opportunities
• Joint admission

Reverse Transfer:

Students who leave TVCC before completing their degree may transfer hours earned at the university back in order to earn their Associates Degree.
