James Reed, M.A.
James Reed has taught on various levels, from secondary to university, since 1980. Over the course of these years, he has taught as an adjunct faculty member, imbedded faculty, and a fulltime professor. He taught his first class for TVCC in 1989.
Mr. Reed earned his Bachelors of Arts Degree from the University of Texas—Austin, in December 1979; his Masters of Arts Degree from the University of Texas at Arlington in May 1982. Subsequent graduate work was also completed at the University of Texas at Arlington.
Since January, 2014, Professor Reed has taught English and Humanities for TVCC, with face-to-face classes and online courses, as well as distance learning courses that have been televised to other campuses.
