Kathy Lewis, M.Ed.
Kathy Lewis has taught English at TVCC in Palestine for 17 years. Ms. Lewis began her teaching career in 1971 at Boerne High School. After teaching high school for twenty-nine years, Ms. Lewis retired, but soon reentered the classroom as an adjunct for TJC. After teaching as an adjunct for both TJC and TVCC, she was encouraged by Cindy Moseley to return fulltime to teaching. She feels that one of the best decisions of her life was to join the TVCC Palestine staff.
Ms. Lewis grew up in Greenville, Texas and attended Greenville schools. She received a bachelors and a masters degree at East Texas University, now A& M Commerce. Reading is one of her greatest loves, so being able to teach literature for many decades has been a constant source of pleasure.
