TRINITY VALLEY COMMUNITY COLLEGE
 
 
The Trinity Valley Community College Board of Trustees met in a special called meeting at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, September 14, 2015 in the Board Room of the Orval Pirtle Administration Building for the purpose of conducting a second scheduled tax rate hearing with the following members present:
 
            Mr. Ray Raymond                 Mr. Steve Grant         Mrs. Paula Kimball
            Mr. Kenneth McGee              Mr. Ron Day               Mr. Homer Norville   
            Mr. Jerry Stone                      Mr. David Monk
 
1.    Mr. Day opened the meeting with prayer.


2.    Mr. Raymond called the hearing open at 6:30 p.m.  There were no public comments. Mr. Raymond closed the first public hearing for the tax rate at 6:39 p.m.  
 
3.    Mr. Stone moved, seconded by Mrs. Kimball, the Board go into closed session at 6:39 p.m. in accordance with Government Code 551.072 and 551.074 to consider personnel and land matters.  Motion carried unanimously.        


4.    Mr. Stone moved, seconded by Mr. Grant, the Board return from closed door session at 8:16 p.m.  Motion carried unanimously. 
 
5.    Mr. Monk moved, seconded by Mrs. Kimball, the Board authorize mediation in the Damuth lawsuit.  Motion carried unanimously.
 
6.    Mr. Day moved, seconded by Mr. McGee, to adjourn the meeting at 8:18 p.m.  Motion carried unanimously.
