Admission Requirements
- Admission to TVCC if the student is not enrolled at the college.
- Minimum 2.75 GPA.
- Complete a program admission application. TVCC students must use their credentials to login to the application.
- Approval from the Program Admission Committee. Applicant will be notified in 1 month.
- Associate of Applied Sciences in Early Childhood Education or an Associate of Arts in Teaching degree or equivalent (60 hours).
- Complete the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board’s 42 semester credit hour core curriculum.
Pre-requisite courses: TECA 1311, TECA 1354, EDUC 1301, EDUC 2301, MATH 1350, MATH 1351
Candidates who lack prerequisite coursework may be conditionally accepted and advised to take leveling courses.
