Vernon Price, Ph.D.
Vernon L. Price graduated from Athens High School and from HCJC, now TVCC. He received his B.S. from East Texas State College with a major in Biology and a minor in Broad Field Science (Chem, Physics, Earth Science). Vernon then earned his M.S. from East Texas State University with a major in Biology and a Ph.D. from Texas A & M Commerce. Vernon worked in the Research and Product Development: Division of General Mills for five years before starting his teaching career at HCJC/TVCC in 1969.
