With more than 400 competitors representing 20 colleges, the 7th annual Trinity Valley Community College rodeo was a success last weekend at the Henderson County Fairpark Complex.
“We had a great rodeo with awesome fan support,” said TVCC rodeo coach Brent Bratton. “Like always, we appreciate our great volunteers and support from the community.
"The support and the great weather made for one of our most successful rodeos. I would like to thank everyone again who made this possible and for coming out and cheering on our team.”
TVCC’s top competitors were Cody Graham, Kyle Crow and Marley Hammer.
Graham, a Wills Point sophomore, placed sixth in Steer Wrestling in the long go and average.
Crow, a Lone Oak sophomore, split fifth place in Team Roping in the long go and sixth place in the short go and average.
Hammer, a Colorado freshman, split sixth place in Barrel Racing and in the first go, as well as ninth in Breakaway Roping.
