Show Team Excels at Four States Fair
Trinity Valley Community College’s Beef Cattle Show Team recently competed in the Open Charolais Division at the Four States Fair in Texarkana, bringing home nine awards.
Their Spring Yearling Bull 007 Round Up 1635, shown by Cody Oden of Leona, was named first in class and Reserve Grand Champion Bull. Other awards included TVCC Legend Maker 1704 P, shown by Baker Cox of Cayuga, second place in Junior Bull Calves; TVCC MS Legend 1702 P, shown by Jodee Crane, second place in Junior Heifer Calves; TVCC MS Lena 1616 P, shown by Luke Dingler of Brownsboro, second place in Late Summer Yearling Females; TVCC MS Janet 1603 P, shown by Erica Vanderslice of Kaufman, third place in Junior Yearling Females; TVCC MS Meagan 1716 P, shown by Luke Dingler, third place in Spring Heifer Calves; TVCC MS Jacqueline 1607, shown by Callie Kincaid of Mabank, fourth place in Junior Yearling Females; TVCC MS Janet 1712 P, shown by Elizabeth Pinder of Orange, fifth place in Junior Heifer Calves and TVCC MS Mikenna 1609 P, shown by Emma Lawson of Brownsboro, fifth place in Junior Yearling Females.
