Are you looking to start a new club or student organization at TVCC?

Follow the steps below to get started:

  1. Find four founding members: Four members must complete your club registration form.
  2. Find a TVCC Faculty or Staff member to sponsor you. A sponsor/advisor is also required to complete your club registration. 
  3. Start your registration form here: https://tvcc.jotform.com/242736416134151
    1. Once you start your registration form, you must submit a Student Club/Organization Probationary Agreement. You must print this form, sign it, and upload it with your registration. The form is available for download within the registration form.
    2. With your registration, you must provide a copy of your club's by-laws. Click here for a template to get you started.
  4. Complete Risk Management Training: Texas Education Code 51.9361 requires Universities and Junior Colleges student club/organization members and their advisors to cover 8 topics related to Risk Management. Risk management training covers the use of alcohol, illegal drugs, hazing, sexual abuse, harassment, fire and other safety issues, travel, behavior, adoption of a risk management policy, and persons with disabilities. 
    1. Risk management training materials and the following questionnaire are included in the new club registration form. 
  5. The four members and sponsor/advisor must sign off on the registration form. 
  6. TVCC's Student Government Association will review the registration and will issue and approval or provide assistance in properly estabilishing the club/organization.
