Trinity Valley Community College competed at the 2024 Dixie National Livestock Show in Jackson, MS. The Judge was Darrell Pitchford of Texas. Five members of the TVCC Beef Cattle Show Team were involved in the Open Charolais Cattle division of the show on Feb. 12.

“They all did a great job!” TVCC Beef Cattle Show Team Sponsor Marc Robinson said.

TVCC MS ANGELICA 2208 P wins again, this time Senior Champion Heifer with Sylvia Nabonne showing her! TVCC MS Angelica 2208 is 8-month’s bred and soon to have her first calf.

“As we approach the end of the show season, I have been reflecting on how far each of us on the team has come,” TVCC Beef Show Team Captain Jacob Wedeking shared. “Whether it's through clipping, showing, or washing, everyone has contributed to helping each other and improving the show quality of not only the cattle but themselves as well."
