TVCC Theatre Department Announces KCATCF Recognition

Riley O’ Donnell and Kamden Magee were awarded Irene Ryan Acting Nominees.

Trinity Valley Community College Theatre Department is excited to announce the student and faculty recognitions from the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Region 6 Festival (KCACTF). With the recent production of “Fahrenheit 451” being entered into the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Region 6 Festival, the theatre department received a response from two respondents that provided feedback and recognition.

Irene Ryan Acting Nominations were awarded to:

Riley O’ Donnell for his portrayal of Guy Montag

Kamden Magee for his portrayal of Fire Chief Beatty

Raelin Evans for her portrayal of Professor Faber

Kalae Richey received the Meritorious Achievement Award in Poster Design. Head of Technical Design Elizabeth “Biz” Nelson received the Meritorious Achievement Award in Set and Costume Design.

The TVCC Theatre Department has also been invited for the KCATCF Region 6 festival Costume Parade and invited for scene performance.

The next production for TVCC Theatre Department is Mystic Pizza: The Musical is set for the spring 2024 semester.
