The TVCC Beef Cattle Show Team made headlines at the Dixie National Livestock Show in Jackson, Mississippi.

“Four members of the TVCC Beef Cattle Show Team were involved in the Open Charolais Cattle division of the show on Feb. 14 and they did a fantastic job,” TVCC Ag and Ranch Management Instructor Marc Robinson said.

Joel Bunting of Canton produced the Reserve Grand Champion Bull in the Two-Year-Old class, first-place in class and Senior Division Champion. 

The Show Team competed in the Group of Five Head class and was awarded the first-place award. 

Trailbe Goff of Whithouse had a first-place finish in the Late Spring Bull Calves class and her bull also won Reserve Champion in the Junior Bull Calf Division.

Robinson said the show was judged by Brandon Cutrer of Wharton.
