McAnally Honored by TACTE
Trinity Valley Community College Associate Vice President of Workforce Education David McAnally was honored by the Texas Association of College Technical Educators (TACTE) at their annual conference, held April 11-13 in Austin. McAnally was recognized for his seven years of service on the association’s Board of Directors, including two years as vice president. TACTE membership consists of professionals in leadership roles in post-secondary workforce education in Texas.
“TVCC was well represented these past years as we were in one way or another responsible for the planning of the bi-annual conferences,” said McAnally. “Special thanks go to Brian Spurling (TVCC Graphic Design & Print Specialist) for the cover design of the conference program and printing for the past 7 years.”
TVCC Director of Dual Credit Kelley Townsend was elected to take McAnally’s place on the TACTE board, serving a two-year term beginning this summer.
