Board Members Sworn In
Trinity Valley Community College Board of Trustees members Dr. Charlie Risinger, Jerry Stone and Homer Norville were sworn in for new 6-year terms at the board’s regular meeting held Monday, June 27 in the Orval Pirtle Administration Building on the Athens campus. Henderson County Precinct 1 Justice of the Peace Randy Daniel administered the oath of office.
The board then voted to retain Ray Raymond as board president, Paula Kimball as vice president and named member Kenneth McGee as secretary.
Risinger is a physician at the Family Medical Center at Terrell who has served on the TVCC board since 2003. Stone is a cattle rancher from Malakoff and has served since 1998. Norville is a retired high school counselor from Kaufman and has served on the board since 1988.
