Cindy Darragh
Pharmacy Technology Instructor

Mrs. Darragh attended Oklahoma Christian College and earned her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from University of Houston College of Pharmacy. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in Education from University of Texas at Tyler and a Master of Education degree from Lamar University.

 

She worked as a sterile compounding pharmacy technician at Bayshore hospital in Pasadena, Texas while I was in pharmacy school.  After graduating from pharmacy school, Mrs. Darragh worked at various retail locations including Kroger, Eckerd Drug and Walmart for 11 years.  She started teaching in the public school system at Kaufman ISD and taught there various grades, ending with Health Science classes including Pharmacy Tech in 2000 after 20 years.  Mrs. Darragh has been with TVCC for 4 years as the Pharmacy Technician Program Director/Instructor.

 

Mrs. Darragh has been married to her husband, Joe, who is a chiropractor, for 36 years and they have 3 daughters, all of whom attended TVCC before going on to finish their degrees at other colleges.  One daughter is a Speech Pathologist, one is a Psychologist and one is an Educator.  She loves camping, gardening and cooking.  Her very favorite quote is from Winnie the Pooh:  “You are Braver than you Believe, Stronger than you Seem, and Smarter than you Think...”
