Teddi Stephanie Shearouse

ADN Instructor

Mrs. Shearouse earned her Associate Degree in Nursing (1985) and her Baccalaureate of Nursing (1992) from Armstrong State College. She graduated from Armstrong Atlantic State University with a Master of Science in Nursing as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Medical Surgical Nursing (1997). She earned a Post-Graduate Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing (2005).

Mrs. Shearouse joined Trinity Valley Community College in August of 2021 as a Freshman ADN Instructor following a long and experienced nursing career. She has worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner since 2005 in several specialties including family practice, internal medicine, hospice, urgent care, and skilled and long-term care. Prior to that she worked as a Case Manager at Memorial Medical Center in Savannah, GA and a Clinical Nurse Specialist and Outcomes Case Manager at Methodist Hospital in Dallas. She worked as a Nurse Educator and served as a Director of Nursing and Chief Nursing Officer at a Long-Term Acute Care. Prior to obtaining her master's degree in Nursing, Mrs. Shearouse worked as a Cardiac Case Manager and as a RN in the CVICU and telemetry settings. Additionally, Mrs. Shearouse also has an extensive background in home health in both the rural and urban settings. 

Mrs. Teddi Stephanie Shearouse has been married to her husband, Harry Shearouse for 24 years and they have 3 adult sons, a daughter-in-law and 3 young grandchildren. Her hobbies include her pets, reading, travel, and gardening.
