September Kirk earned her Master of Fine Arts at the University of Alabama and her Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Texas at Arlington. Before finding her place at Trinity Valley, she taught various art-related classes at Western Texas College, Midland College, and Navarro College.  Currently Department Coordinator and Studio Instructor, Professor Kirk enjoys introducing her students to diverse media as they develop their skills and expand their portfolios.

Classes currently taught by Professor Kirk include Painting I &II, Drawing I & II, Two-dimensional Design, Art Foundations, and Art Appreciation. She is a member of National Art Educators Association and the Texas Art Educators Association.
