In order to meet the educational needs of these units, diverse curricula are offered when possible. Academic courses are offered in a trimester format. In addition, there are several workforce certificate programs offered to students in three eight-week cycles. Also, non-credit workforce certificate courses are available to students at no charge. Students should check with the TVCC College Counselors to determine which TDCJ units offer these programs.
