Networking courses cover network technologies, installation, and configuration, media and topologies, management, and security. Candidate job roles include network administrator, network technician, network installer, help desk technician, and IT cable installer. Security+ certification designates knowledgeable professionals in the field of computer security, one of the fastest-growing fields in IT. Courses cover, network security, compliance, and operational security, access control and identity management, and cryptography.

Professional certifications from CompTIA and Microsoft are world-recognized information technology credentials sought by IT professionals and are often specified as required by companies seeking qualified new hire candidates.
