Continuing & Workforce Education at TVCC welcomes area school districts to become partners in training students to achieve state and/or national credentials while they are still in high school.
At the present time we offer:
Nurse Aide - This training can be offered to high school juniors and seniors who are age 16 or older. Successful completion of this 67 clock hours of classroom and 80 clock hours of clinical training can lead to a State of Texas Certification - Certified Nurse Aide.
Other Entry Level Medical Training - can be offered at the request of individual school districts. Some of these courses include Medical Terminology, CPR, and Basic Phlebotomy Technician.
We welcome the opportunity to visit with area ISDs about both of these programs. Please contact our office at 903-675-6212 or email@example.com and we will be happy to set up a meeting with the appropriate people in your district.
