The Legal Assistant Technology curriculum offered through Trinity Valley Community College is designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills to work under the general direction of attorneys to assist them in completion of legal tasks. Students completing this program will be able to prepare complaints, motions, subpoenas, billing forms, and will be well-prepared for a career as a legal assistant.
According to the most recent U. S. Department of Labor's Occupational Outlook Handbook, employment of paralegals and legal assistants is expected to grow by 15 percent from 2016 to 2026.
