The Board of Trustees of Trinity Valley Community College will meet in regular session at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, September 23, 2019 in the Board Room of the Orval Pirtle Administration Building, Athens, Texas.  Dinner will be served for the Board Members in the Pirtle Administration Building Conference Room at 6:30 p.m., where no business will be discussed.

The Board of Trustees may take formal action as to any of the items listed below:

1.    Open meeting with prayer.

2.    Consider public comments.

3.    Presentation from Kevin Cashion, Gollob Morgan Peddy- Accounting Firm.

4.   President’s Report

1. Fall Enrollment- Dr. Wendy Elmore
2. Recruiting/High School Outreach Office- Dr. Jay Kinzer
3. Update on Terrell Health Science Center and Health Science Academy

5.    Consider minutes of the August 26, and September 9, 2019 board meetings.

6.    Financials for August will be presented at the October board meeting

       due to year-end close and the new ERP computer system.

7.    Consider setting the tax rate of $0.13854 for the college’s regular tax district and $0.05 for the Palestine branch campus maintenance district as the tax rates to support the FY 2019-20 budget.

8.   Consider and discuss approval of non-participation of employees in the State Employee Charitable Contribution Program CDDA (LOCAL) policy.

9.   Consider and discuss approval of TVCC Foundation Gift Acceptance Policy.

10. Consider and discuss personnel matters.

11. Adjourn.
