IMPORTANT! If you don't already have your hepatitis B vaccinations - get started now. The usual timing of vaccinations is the first shot, a 2nd in a month and a 3rd at 6 months after the 1st. If time becomes an issue, the CDC recommends an accelerated schedule of the first shot, the 2nd in 4 weeks and the 3rd at 4 months after the 1st. If you are accepted into the VN program
in Palestine, the first two Hep B vaccinations must be completed by July 1, 2010.
If you are accepted into the VN program in Kaufman, the
first two Hep B vaccinations must be completed by December
1, 2009. Due to the cost we recommend going to Outreach Clinics or the Public Health Departments.
Click on the VN program brochure to see the current procedure and access the application.
*** The application for the VN Class of 2011 in Kaufman
will be available on April 1, 2010. We are
currently taking
applications for VN Palestine fall 2010 class until January
31st.
