As one of the world's leading professions, those with finance and accounting skills continue to be in high demand with many professional opportunities available in various businesses and industries.  From management, finance, information systems, human resources to marketing and distribution every organization is affected at some level by financial analysis and the decisions made as a result.  Accounting graduates can pursue many careers positions such as certified public accountants (CPA), controllers, auditors, financial officers, tax accountants, corporate treasurers, baking and investment officers and educators.

The Accounting programs provide students foundational knowledge in accounting principles along with specific knowledge in financial and managerial accounting, computerized accounting, payroll and business tax accounting, bookkeeping, business law and other business organizational structures.

The Trinity Valley Community College Workforce Education Division's mission is to provide lifelong learning opportunities, welcoming people of all ages and experience, helping them to reach their personal and professional potential.  Our programs are geared to meet the ever-changing needs of today's students by offering traditional credit programs, face-to-face skilled classroom and lab programs and courses that can be completed online.
