Construction Technology: Electrical & Plumbing Trades Students

Construction Technology Trades:  Electrical & Plumbing Trades

In today's competitive marketplace, having electrical and plumbing trades skills is in high demand with many career opportunities available. TVCC's Workforce Education Division offers certificate programs in both electrical and plumbing trades through two program pathways in our 'Construction Technology Trades' program.

Both of these trade programs are 30 semester credit hours, running two (2) consecutive semesters with a certificate of completion awarded.  The Electrical Trades program provides students the foundational knowledge to advance into a Journeyman Electrician apprenticeship in this specific trade career.  The Plumbing Trades program provides the foundational knowledge to advance into either a Tradesman Plumber Limited or Journeyman Plumber apprenticeship program.

A non-credit component that mirrors these trade programs is available for continuing education students. Dual Credit options may also be available.
