The Trinity Valley Community College (TVCC) Science Division, chaired by Dr. John Placyk, offers an Associate of Arts (A.A.) Liberal Arts Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Physical Science and a variety of core courses and prerequisites for those interested in going on to professional schools, and Bachelor's and graduate programs.

Potential career paths for students pursuing a degree from the TVCC Science Division include microbiologist, geneticist, epidemiologist, family/general practitioners, water resource specialists, chemical engineers, environmental engineers, nuclear engineers, natural science managers, clinical research coordinators, chemical engineers, and chemical technicians.
