Kinesiology - About Our Program

 

Students looking to graduate with an Associate of Arts Liberal Arts Degree with an emphasis in Kinesiology will have a solid foundation of the science and art behind human movement, physical activity, personal behaviors and wellness, and academic skills to pursue opportunities at 4-year universities. With communication, critical thinking, teamwork, personal responsibility, and social responsibility skills developed throughout coursework, the Kinesiology coursework prepares students for various degrees that can be adaptive to diverse industries from education to health sciences.

Students who are looking to begin their Health Science pathway for Athletic Training can complete an Associate of Arts Liberal Arts Degree with an emphasis in Athletic Training which provides a solid foundation to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree. Athletic Training is a strong program with experiences and core classes like Anatomy & Physiology, Foundations of Kinesiology, and Care & Prevention of Athletic Injuries.
