Mental Health Counseling
TVCC offers brief, solution-focused counseling to help students deal with personal issues that may affect their academic success. The goal is to help stabilize emotions, explore practical solutions, and connect students with helpful on campus or community resources. You must be currently enrolled to use these services. Students needing long term or intensive mental health care may be referred to outside providers for more complete treatment.

In a Crisis?
If a student is in need of immediate assistance they may go directly to either of our local hospital’s emergency rooms. This is recommended for a student who feels they are “in crisis” and need immediate mental health attention.
