More hardware is headed to Trinity Valley Community College with the Marketing and Communications team bringing home nine awards from the 2026 National Council for Marketing and Public Relations District 4 Medallion Awards.
“As an institution known as the Home of Champions, you have to have a Marketing and Communications team with a championship mindset, and this is that team,” said Shaydi Clary, Director of Marketing and Communications at TVCC.
This is the third year the team has been selected for Medallion Awards. With 2024 being the first year the team entered work, they earned Silver in Poster and Social Media Post or Story – Video. In 2025, the team struck gold for the first time earning eight Medallion Awards, including receiving Gold in two categories: Social Media Post or Story – Video and Excellence in Writing (Short Form). The team also earned Silver in E-Card and Logo Wear, along with Bronze awards in Social Media Post or Story – Still, Computer-Generated Illustration, Novelty, and Wild Card.
This year, the team is sweeping up nine awards earning Gold in Novelty item and Gold in Television/Video Paid Advertisement – Series. The team won Silver in Best Website, Social Media Post or Story - Video, and Wild Card. The team also received Bronze awards in Best Social Media Page for Instagram, Social Media Post or Story – Still, E-Card, and Postcard.
“I am incredibly proud of the team I get to work with because they are an amazing group of talented and creative individuals,” Clary expressed, “This team has grown a mindset of what's next for us, how can we grow, and what is the next "big thing" and because of that, we get to celebrate these achievements.”
With each passing year, the Marketing and Communications team continues to build on its success, finding new and creative ways to share the stories, achievements, and opportunities that make TVCC the Home of Champions. These latest honors reflect the team’s dedication to excellence and its commitment to showcasing the college and the communities it serves.
