I spend time with family, read and write Christian devotionals, watch old American and British sitcoms and historical period movies, and I like to participate in communication that brings laughter and peace to others and to me.

The first 23+ years of my career (pre and during TVCC), I taught in private Christian schools, and then for almost 20 years, I taught in the Kaufman ISD, where I was an assistant elementary principal, the Kaufman High School principal, and the assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction. 

While an adjunct at TVCC, I also taught  graduate students at LeTourneau University and Walden University, and I taught undergraduate students at Southern Methodist University (SMU). I continued my graduate studies and went to seminary. I became a psychotherapist in private practice.

TVCC students give students their time and attention. We care about their success!
