With welcoming study spaces, academic coaching, and access to helpful resources, the Cardinal Success Centers are your go-to places for staying on track, overcoming challenges, and reaching your goals.

Personal Coaching

Academic coaching is personalized, one-on-one meeting(s) to help you improve your learning skills and performance. Academic coaching helps you study smarter! Develop your skills in various areas like time management, goal setting, and test preparation to help you examine your learning barriers and discover strategies to overcome them.   The ability to adjust to the demands and pressures of the college environment is often difficult for students. Factors such as poor time management, lack of study skills and not knowing what college resources are available can lead to an unsuccessful college experience.  Academic coaches help you and all students successfully cope with many of these difficulties. 

Tutoring at TVCC

Peer and virtual tutoring are free for all currently enrolled TVCC students and are easily accessible through the student portal. Our goal is to help every student succeed—take advantage of the valuable tutoring resources and make the most of your learning experience!

TVCC Learning Symposium

The TVCC Learning Symposium celebrates the knowledge and creativity students bring to our learning community. This event provides a platform for students to showcase their work while fostering connections among students, faculty, staff, administration, alumni, and the broader community. Together, we recognize achievement, share ideas, and support the vibrant learning taking place at TVCC. This event takes place each Spring and cash prizes are awarded in various categories.
