Steps for Graduation

 

Steps to Complete Graduation:

• Complete Required Coursework - Unsure if you are eligible to graduate? Meet with an Advisor for an audit of your coursework.
• Apply for Graduation - When you are ready, apply through your student portal.
• Check Your TVCC Cardinal Email - Notices regarding graduation eligibility will go out 2-3 weeks prior to the end of the current semester.
• Complete the Semester Successfully - Students currently enrolled in courses that complete their coursework must finish successfully to qualify for their diploma or certificate.
• Commencement Information - Students who wish to participate in commencement can use the link below to prepare for the big day.

Steps to Receive Your Diploma or Certificate:

• Check your TVCC Cardinal Email - Notices regarding diploma and certificate orders go out 1-2 weeks after the end of the current semester.
• TVCC Uses a Third-Party Vendor - TVCC campuses are not able to provide a copy of your diploma or certificate; they must be ordered using the link sent to your TVCC Email (order will not be sent automatically).
• First Orders are Free of Charge - Your first copy of your diploma or certificate is free of any cost to you; further copies will incur a fee from the third-party vendor.
