Karla Clifton currently teaches Introduction to Anatomy and Physiology and General Biology for Trinity Valley Community College. She is originally from Texas but now lives in Southeastern Oklahoma with her husband and 2 daughters. They raise stocker steer yearlings and the girls have horses they show in 4-H, and they also show exhibition poultry nationally.
Karla has an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Veterinary Technology from Murray State College. She worked as an Equine Anesthetist before going back to school at East Central University where she earned a B.S. in Biology with Minors in Chemistry and Education. While working at Paris Junior College, she went back to school again at Texas A & M University - Commerce and completed her M.S.in Secondary and Higher Education / Biology.
Karla taught Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II for Paris Junior College for 12 years and The Virtual College of Texas for 10 of those years.
