Three Trinity Valley Community College professors have been approved to present sessions at the annual Conference on College Composition and Communication (CCCC) in March at the University of Oregon. TVCC Terrell English professor Dr. Debra Airheart, Athens English professor Dr. Brandon Barnes and English/Humanities professor James Reed will present “Let Us Cultivate Our Garden: Creating Conditions for Learning and Change.” The session will focus on the instruction of and techniques for composition with college students, including the challenge of the dual credit and underprepared students entering the academic arena.
Since 1949, CCCC has provided a forum for all those responsible for teaching composition and communication skills at the college level, both in undergraduate and graduate programs.
