The Trinity Valley Community College Lady Cards basketball team will host Jacksonville College on February 4 in the annual Play 4 Kay game. The Play 4 Kay games are held nationwide to raise money for the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, honoring the memory of the former North Carolina State coach, who died of breast cancer in 2009.
To further the cause, the Lady Cards will host a ChariTea Event at McAlister’s Deli on Tuesday, January 31 from 5 to 9 p.m. McAlister’s will donate 10% of sales that evening to the Kay Yow Cancer Fund, and donation jars will be available for additional donations.
