On Friday, May 10, Trinity Valley Community College President Dr. Jason Morrison announced the recipients of the President’s Awards during the Spring 2024 Commencement Ceremony at the Athens High School.

The recipients are nominated by TVCC staff and faculty. The qualifications for a President’s Award nominee and winner include graduating in May 2024, having a minimum 3.0 GPA, and is an outstanding representative of TVCC values both academically and civically.

For this year’s graduation ceremony, the recipients included Jennifer Watson, Ruby Brand, Kelly Ann Walker, Anita Thomas, and Ana Barcenas.

Barcenas and Walker were also recognized for receiving highest honors and graduating with a 4.0 GPA. Thomas and Brand were recognized for graduating with honors.
