Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society is recognizing 159 chapters, including Trinity Valley Community College’s chapter, for their efforts in excelling membership development as part of PTK’s REACH program.

On Monday, Feb. 26, the Phi Theta Kappa Iota Alpha Chapter on the TVCC – Athens Campus received recognition for its excellence in student engagement through PTK and was named a 2023 REACH Chapter.

“I’m very proud of our excellent TVCC students, who showed their smarts by enrolling for PTK,” TVCC – Athens Chapter PTK Advisor Nancy Long shared. “That’s what made us a REACH Chapter. PTK membership is a wonderful credential for transferring students or for students transitioning to the workforce.”

As part of the recognition, the TVCC – Athens Chapter will receive a limited number of PTK graduation stoles that can been worn by chapter officers or members during graduation.
