The Trinity Valley Community College Student Government Association had a strong showing at state convention this year.

Courtney Skiles was named as the Advisor of the Year, while Joel Vasquez finished in second place as the Student of the Year.

In the awards categories, TVCC won first place in the video award, second place in the essay award and third place in the poem award category.
