Trinity Valley Community College Director of Dual Credit Kelley Townsend and business instructor Kristen Stovall will be presenters at the Texas Association of College Technical Educators (TACTE) annual conference April 11-13 in Austin. The pair will present “Tag Teaming Teens”, which outlines a course sequence specifically designed to prepare high school students on how to be college students, while also providing them with career & technical courses that teach them software and management skills.

TACTE is a professional organization serving workforce education in Texas community and technical colleges. The purpose of TACTE is to offer activities and services that promote sound and effective workforce education.  The annual conference is designed for professionals in all levels of career and technical education to network and learn new ideas.  Attendees include faculty, program directors, vice-presidents, deans and vice-chancellors.
