On Friday and Saturday, February 23 and 24th, the UIL district of the National Speech and Debate Association will host its national qualifying tournament.  17 schools and over 150 students will meet on the Trinity Valley Community College Athens campus and compete for the opportunity to attend the national tournament in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.  This tournament consists of schools of all sizes, public and private.  This is the second time TVCC has offered to host this prestigious event.
