TVCC Student Government Association (SGA) was awarded the Regional Chapter of the Year Award during the Region III Spring Meeting held Friday, February 17 on the Athens campus. More than 100 students from community college SGAs including three Navarro campuses, Tyler, Texarkana, Northeast Texas CC, Panola, Paris and Texas State Technical College attended to conduct business in preparation for the state convention to be held March 30-April 2.
The Texas Junior College Student Government Association (TJCSGA) is the only student-maintained organization in the state that works to promote the cause of community college students at the local, regional, state and national level, and is composed of more than 72 member colleges across the state.
